7-Day Nairobi & Samburu Wildlife Safari Tour

Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi
Our tour guide/driver will pick you from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and transfer you to the hotel. You will check in, have refreshments, lunch, and relax. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Nairobi Excursion
After breakfast, visit the Giraffe Centre to feed and learn about the endangered Rothschild giraffes. Explore the nature trail to a serene forest and river. Then proceed to Kazuri Beads Factory to see handmade ceramic beadwork and interact with local women artisans. Lunch will be at Carnivore Restaurant. In the evening, visit Kitengela Glass Bridge for art, glassblowing demonstrations, and walking across the thrilling 65-meter suspension bridge. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Nairobi to Samburu National Reserve
After breakfast, drive to Samburu National Reserve. Check in to the hotel, enjoy lunch, refreshments, and a massage. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 4: Samburu Game Drive
Enjoy an early morning game drive to see rare wildlife such as Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, reticulated giraffe, and more. Return for breakfast and lunch. In the evening, visit a Samburu village, experience their culture, and participate in the Warriors Academy. End the day with a sundowner at a scenic picnic site. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 5: Buffalo Springs Full Game Drive
After breakfast, head to Buffalo Springs for a full-day game drive. Spot elephants, lions, leopards, giraffes, and birdlife like the Somali ostrich and Egyptian vulture. Have a packed lunch and enjoy a swim near the springs. Return to the hotel in the evening. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 6: Namunyak Wildlife Conservation Trust
Enjoy a relaxed morning, then after lunch visit Reteti Elephant Sanctuary to feed and learn about rescued elephants. Go on a horseback safari through the conservancy for a unique view of the landscape and wildlife. Return for dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 7: Departure
After breakfast, check out and drive back to Nairobi for your flight from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
